I see I haven’t written much in this blog for almost a year!.. A whole year!!!

Wow.. I’ve been busy .. very busy writing. I am now concentrating all of my efforts on graphics and writing for Kindle on Amazon.com… I will offer a new course in how to do this and make covers for Kindle soon.. I have a new course on how to create Fiction Covers… especially romance covers for Kindle. Still in the same free software, just some new tricks. You’ll love it!!!!

In the mean time, I have been writing some children’s books under my real name, Romance under a pen, and Erotica under still another pen, for reasons I don’t think I need to explain.. Since the huge success of Fifty Shades Of Grey, the Erotica market featuring BDSM has really opened up. Not that I’m that big of a fan of this type of fiction, but hey… I’m a marketer first, and what ever sells is something I will try.

Hi Guys,
Just a quick note. I have added a “Comments” button to my blog. This is a very cool marketing technique to use. I will make you a video to show you how to place this on your blog or website next week.
Also please realize the Comments are for ADDIE LEE.. that is my alter ego. I am also a musician, guitar player, song writer, producer, etc.

I have been in the music biz for over 40 years.. But mostly write and record for my own pleasure now. ( I was on Warner Bros records, and later Willie Dixon produced me in Chicago).

I would have to say writing and playing are up there with internet marketing and writing Fiction for Amazon.

One must make time for all their hobbies/businesses.. so time management is so very important. I am also a Realtor, (yes you could call me an over achiever}, and one thing we continue our education on is Time Management.
If I didn’t apply it I would not be able to do all the fun things I enjoy in my life.

So how I handle that is by benchmarking projects, playing, learning, creating, or whatever I am working on.
A goal or schedule must be created on a daily basis.
If I want to write a new novel for Kindle, then I must put some writing time into my schedule. Now that can be daily or weekly but it must be in there so that I can benchmark the activity and reach my goal or finishing date.

I might schedule 2 to 3 hours for writing, then have some relaxing guitar playing time, then swing into working on a graphics project for my IM biz. But if there is a deadline, one that I have imposed, then I must put the time into each project, and I must schedule that time. Creating the schedule in bite sized chunks always works best for me. Anything else becomes overwhelming.

I don’t create “Goals” per sec, rather benchmark dates of accomplishment. A goal is just a distant thing that is mostly always in the future and never gets accomplished.

How many folks make a New Years goal every year and by August realize they have not even started to do anything toward that goal?? Yup! It happens all the time.

Anyway, I am listening to 2 wonderful webinars today and working on my skills. One webinar on a different way to create ecovers, and one on getting tons of traffic on Facebook.
Both really great content. Regardless of how long you may have been in your Internet Business, there is always something new you can learn. Even if you just pick up one new nugget of information, futhering your education will benefit you either now or later.

Ok, I am being called to listen now, think I will noodle on the guitar while doing so.

Today I want to talk about Kindle ebooks. Some of you may have been writing your ebooks to create a list and that is a great way to build a list of targeted buyers for future marketing. Have you thought about selling any of your books on Amazon?
Here’s why:
Amazon is the biggest seller of books ever, and Kindle books outsell them all!!!

This is a huge market. Not only is it prestigious to be an Amazon Author, Amazon does the marketing for you!!!! They will direct people to your book.

There are a lot of courses out there about writing Kindle Books.
Not all of them are great.. so when you are looking, do yourself a favor and really read the sales page.

I am thinking of creating a course with exact details from writing your book to creating your account to marketing your book.
I think I had to refer to 5 different courses to get the “WHOLE” story. The real “how tos”. And then there were still things missing.

Right now I am experimenting with a 3rd version of one of my books. It is not anywhere except on Kindle.. (One of their rules).
So it is only available there.

Hope you are enjoying the gorgeous weather we are having.. at least in the West.
Looks like summer will be HOT!!

I am creating 2 new sites now.. one for Graphics Using Free Tools where you will learn how to create graphics without expensive software, build webpages, set up an aweber account, join giveaways to build your list and market either affiliate products or your own.
I am using the graphics gateway so to speak, to introduce you to making an income online.
You can use the graphics training to do graphics for hire, set up your own business, start a new business, etc.
But this is a fun way to get into marketing and having an internet business online.

You would need to hire a graphics artist to create your ecover if you write an ebook, you would need a graphics artist to create your CD ecover, product ecover, etc.
This can get very very expensive.

I started in this biz by taking the graphics pathway. By finding alternatives to paying someone I learned how to do it myself and with free tools.. Now I want to pass that on to you, but we will go beyond graphics.

The second site is a guitar learning Membership site.
You will learn Blues basics, Jazz basics, rock basics, etc
Also being that I am a guitar builder, I will also show you how to set up your guitar, work on it, build if you like, etc.
Also I will have some of my musician friend come over and do some guest posting..
I think this will be a fun site for all you aspiring guitar players!!
I am very excited about this site and think we will have a lot of fun.

Right now I am testing the membership software I am planning to use.

Hi Guys,
Wow, time flies kinda!.. Well almost been in this new location a month.
I am still getting things together for the membership site and trying to settle in for a minute here.
I have decided the true goal is to get closer to the ocean/beach.
I am thinking the Carmel area, but that will take some maneuvering for sure.
Anyway while I am here I will be setting up the basics and getting things ready.
I did find a great new graphics Package. If you are on my email list you should be getting it next week.

Well today I am celebrating my Bday by tweaking things and getting excited about what the rest of the month will bring.

Hi All,
Well finally after 8 months.. of grieving, fixing, repairing, selling, closing, etc.. I am in a new location and almost set up for biz.
Not exactly my dream house, but a place to land for now.

So on to 2012 and January. I will be continuing to set up my system, a new computer is on the horizon, and perhaps some new software products. If all works like I am thinking I will definitely turn you guys on to anything new that works great.. No fluff!

It is a bit slower than I thought, starting in a new location that is.
Dealing with emotions and trying to make accommodations work.
Of course my first shower in my new place lasted maybe 3 minutes as the hot water heater went out.. hahah.. oh great! Anyway after what I have been thru that is but a pebble in the pathway to a new life. Ha.. I suppose I should be writing some philosophical rhetoric about now. And I’m sure it will come out as I flow in my ramblings.

One of the first new books for this year is the baby boomer book focusing on losing your parents.. it will be my experience, good and bad, plus some very useful info about burial, trusts, legalities, etc.. stuff you don’t think about until the moment is upon you.
I am looking forward to this book as it is so fresh in my mind and I feel it will help so many people!

Graphics will be a huge part of my focus this year as well.. I feel too many folks are still suffering with not knowing how or where to go to get a great price on ecovers.. I do that service, but may be only doing specialty work this year .. I will however be teaching YOU HOW TO DO IT The easy way…

Well I must continue setting up this rig.. No speakers and I was about to lay into some Jazz licks with Jimmy Bruno online.. so…

Whew, well it is good to get rid of that old ratty year and step into the new one!
It was a horrible year as I lost both parents on the same day in July who were not together for the last 40 plus years.. what are the odds of that???

Moving forward: I am almost out of escrow with the house as of the end of the second week of this month. It has been a long 5 and a half months of dedication, love, and passion in repairing this house and getting everything ready to sell it.
And a much unappreciated time at that from others. Be careful who you trust and depend on.

Moving forward again.. lol
2012, as some of you may know, is suppose to be either the last year of planet earth or a new enlightenment for all.
Either way we must live our lives for the present time as that is all we have. One never knows when their last day is.. that being said, I am very excited about the new energy I already feel in this new year.

I am so anxious to get to my new location even if it is temporary as moving forward is so important. It gets you to the next step of your life while sitting on the fence or staying stagnant about making decisions stalls you and gets you nowhere.

I will be setting up the membership site to get everyone going who is interested in making money online this year.
It is really so very simple but you must know how to do it and it is a learning curve.. but not difficult. Any new job, and this is a job working online, is a learning curve. You just need someone to show you how. I was fortunate to find someone a couple years ago that taught me what I wanted and needed to know. Altho there were some things missing in the teaching, I was able to fill in the blanks and that is what I would like to do for you, fill in the blanks and get you to the money.

I will keep you posted on that as I progress.

It has been a long journey as of losing my dearest friend and favorite person , My Mom who I have talked about a lot in this blog since her passing at the end of July this past summer.

I have been in her home since getting it ready for the market..
I have finally sold it and am now in escrow so I can be on my way soon.
I feel like I have been stuck in a time warp with no way out and I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel.

I will be writing my book on my experience as I feel it is something I can help others with when it is time for you to deal with the lose of a parent.

That is one of my projects for early 2012.
I hope you are thinking of your new goals and fun that you will create in the NEW YEAR. Don’t ever forget to plan for FUN!

I am getting really excited to start the new membership site finally!!!
My goal was to have it done by this year, but unfortunately I lost my Mom to an untimely death and it has taken it’s toll on my emotions and my mind. The grief at times unbearable.
I will be writing about it for all the baby boomers who are losing their parents or have parents that are not well.
There is so much to do and so much to learn when this happens to you.
Just in the last month 2 of my friends lost parents.
It is such a sad occasion especially when the holidays come.

This year for Thanks Giving I am going up to Ukiah where I will re locate once the house is sold.
I will be with loving friends and that is about all you could really ask for.

So to get on to the membership site. I am glad I am back into my biz as it will help me to continue my healing process.
I think I am more aware and sensitive now to others needs, hopes, and dreams. Fate has stepped in to help me create the best learning experience that I can for you in the near future.

All I can say is Thank You for sticking with me and being a great sounding board for my ideas and projects.
